For 19 consecutive days, San Juan City recorded zero new death related to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), Mayor Francis Zamora said Monday.
Latest data from the local government showed that COVID-19 cases in San Juan City was at 340 with 54 active cases, 44 deaths, and 242 recoveries as of June 14.
“This is the 19th straight day of zero new COVID-19 deaths recorded in the City of San Juan,” Zamora said.
“This is also the ninth time that we have recorded zero new COVID-19 case in the city since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis,” he added.
According to the city government, Barangay Greenhills remains to have the most number of COVID-19 cases so far with 58 confirmed cases, nine deaths, three active cases, and 46 recoveries.
The village is considered as the center of economic activity in the city.
