ISABELA – A Sangguniang Bayan member and his company discovered on Monday two sacks of marijuana bricks worth around P5.4 million in a botanical park in Barangay Santos, this province.
Police Regional Office 2 director Brig. Gen. Crizaldo Nieves said SB member Armando Lacambra and his companions were jogging along Quezon Boulevard at about 8 a.m. when they saw at the park two suspicious sacks colored yellow and pink.
The police official said Lacambra immediately alerted the police who later found inside the sacks 42 kilos of dried marijuana bricks with an estimated value of P5,040,000.
Police are still conducting investigation to identify the owner of the seized marijuana. (Liezle Basa Inigo)
