DAVAO CITY – A six-day-old baby boy from Davao City recovered from coronavirus disease in Davao region on Sunday.
Based on the profile released by the Department of Health (DoH) Monday afternoon, the infant from Barangay 76-A was admitted on July 12 and discharged on Sunday along with 25 others.
However, the child’s history of exposure is still under investigation, the DoH said.
The DoH also said that among the 26 recoveries reported, 25 are from Davao City and one from Davao de Oro.
A three-year-old girl also recovered from COVID-19 last Saturday. The child from Barangay 23-C manifested symptoms on July 6 and was admitted on July 11.
She was one of those who were discharged on July 25.
As of July 26, Davao region has so far recorded a total of 648 individuals who have successfully recovered from COVID-19.
Currently, the region has 463 active cases out of the 1,156 total number of cases recorded. (Zea Capistrano)
