Anti-Kidnapping Operatives (AKG) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) rescued Sunday two Chinese nationals who were reportedly kidnapped by their compatriots in a raid in Las Piñas City.
Brig. Gen. Jonnel Estomo, director of the Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG), indentified the suspects as Weng Zhiting and Cheng Guo who allegedly kidnapped Xiao Hao and Li Weizu.
According to the police report, the families of the two victims were being forced to pay a huge sum of money in exchange for their release. (Aaron Recuenco)
