In the old days, elders told their children to be like the langgam or ant. They save up for the rainy days.
That’s what ants do when you see them lining to hoard, stock up on food.
Now that the rainy season is here, I think of ants’ kasipagan.

Black garden ants can last up to 15 years, while ordinary ants can live up to 12 months only.

Ants are social insects. They live in large colonies or groups. Depending on the species, ant colonies can consist of millions of ants.
There are three kinds of ants in a colony: The queen, the female workers, and the males.
