BACOLOD CITY – The Negros Occidental District Jail (NODJ) in Bago City will give a P10,000 cash reward to any informant who can help the agency capture two inmates who escaped from the facility on Monday.
Jimmy Sablon of Barangay Robles, La Castellana town, who was charged with frustrated murder, and Ramonito Ventura of Barangay Buenavista, Murcia town, who was charged with robbery, bolted the jail by cutting off the steel bar in their respective dormitories.
Senior Inspector Norberto Miciano Jr., jail warden, said five jail officers were on duty when the incident happened.
Miciano said manhunt operation is ongoing.
He said they are still investigating if the jail officers had lapses at that time. (Glazyl Masculino)
