Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., who tested positive for COVID-19 last month, announced that he could be finally with his family after he finished his quarantine.
“My quarantine is done,” he announced in a Facebook post.
“My doctors advised me that I can already go out of my isolation room. After over a month, I can finally be with my family na walang pangamba whatsoever,” he added.
In another post, he also shared a photo of him with his family, captioned: “Finally got to eat dinner with my family tonight after weeks of self-isolation.”
Revilla again expressed gratitude to those who prayed for his recovery.
His wife, Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla, also thanked the senator’s doctors.
“Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng mga sumama sa aming magdasal para sa kanyang paggaling. To God be the Glory!!!,” she wrote in a separate Facebook post.
Revilla was the fourth senator who contracted and recovered from the coronavirus disease following Senators Juan Miguel Zubiri, Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara, and Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III. (Vanne Terrazola)
