It seems that not everyone is happy with Liz Uy announcing her engagement to Raymond Racaza, the father of her child, Xavi.
It didn’t help matters any that she announced her engagement only hours after Racaza’s ex-wife, noted internist and rheumatologist Geraldine ‘Ging’ Zamora, also announced her engagement to cardiologist Lauro ‘Sonny’ Abrahan IV.
Some fans deem the whole thing ill-timed.
“Let’s not glorify mistresses. I love Liz Uy’s creativity, but being an elite doesn’t give her a VIP ticket to destroy another woman’s family. Put the most expensive ring on her finger but she cannot deny the fact that she was a homewrecker,” one kibitzer said.
“Let’s not glorify these relationships. Another child is left without a father. There’s nothing to congratulate or celebrate here,” said another.
Others made fun of Racaza being silent over the matter.
Talk about Uy and Racaza making sweet music while the latter was still married to Zamora made the rounds in 2016.
Uy first gained public notice after getting into a relationship with actor John Lloyd Cruz.
They broke up in 2009.
She would then be romantically linked to former president Noynoy Aquino III and film director Lino Cayetano.
