Fans eager to see Marian Rivera act again shouldn’t hold their breath.
The actress is not keen on accepting acting projects at the moment considering the ongoing health scare as brought upon by COVID-19.
Note that she already relinquished her role in “My First Yaya” prior due to the same.
If anything, fans will still be able to catch her via GMA Network’s award-winning drama anthology “Tadhana.”
The show is celebrating its 3rd anniversary with month-long specials airing Saturdays beginning Nov. 7 and Marian is once again hosting the show.
“Ang maganda sa ‘Tadhana’ kasi nagawan naming ng paraan na yung parte ko e kukuhanan na lang dito sa bahay namin na limitado ang production crew so natutuwa ako na kahit paano ay makakapagtrabaho ako,” she said.
Is there any chance that she will be seen playing a role in one of its episodes?
She shot back, “Baka, malay mo? Iniisip namin yan, actually so, tignan natin.
And what about fans eager to see her perform?
As of now thankful lang ako na merong “Tadhana’ so yun lang muna sa ngayon.”
“Tadhana” is to offer viewers inspiring true stories about Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
Kicking off the series on Nov. 7 and 14 is “The One That Ran Away,” which tells the story of a woman scheduled to get married who crosses paths with an old flame.
It is followed by “55 (Hindi pa Huli ang Umibig)” on Nov. 21 and 28, which tells the story of middle-aged, perennial widow and a mysterious young man who will try to make her fall in love again.
“Tadhana” airs Saturdays before “Wish Ko Lang!” on GMA Network.
