CAMP GENERAL ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – Three alleged drug dealers were killed in two buy-bust operations launched by Bulacan police early Friday morning.
Col. Larence B. Cajipe, Bulacan police director, said the slain drug suspects were Carlo Dimapanag Ardenio, a resident of Bagong Silang, Caloocan City; Joshua Oyasan Loquente alias “Blondie” of Meycauayan, Bulacan; and one unidentified man wearing a red t-shirt, blue shorts, and a bull cap.
Both Ardenio and Loquente were in the drug watchlist of the Philippine National Police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), according to police.
Based on the report, Ardeo was killed in a shootout with members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Jose del Monte City Police shortly after a buy-bust in Melody Plains, Barangay Muzon, at 1:30 a.m. His companion eluded arrest.
Recovered from Ardeo were two sachets of shabu; one .38-calbier Smith and Wesson pistol, bullets, and fired cartridge case, and the buy-bust money.
Loquente and an unidentified cohort were also killed when they shot it out with operatives of Balagtas Police Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) during an entrapment in Barangay Pulong Gubat at about 3:20 a.m.
Police recovered from them 11 sachets of shabu, two .38-caliber revolvers, and the buy-bust money, among others. (Freddie Velez)
