Dear Doc Rica,
Tapos nakanood ako ng video sa YouTube about girls looking at their vaginas for the first time. So na-curious ako at chineck ko din gamit ‘yung salamin. I noticed that it is more purple than pink. Salamat.
Thank you

Dear Drop Charger,
A lot of women do not look at their genitals in detail. Pero good practice ang regular na pagpunta sa OB to make sure that you are in good health and there are no irregularities in your body.
First is increased blood flow when aroused similar to an erection for guys. Nagkakaroon ng lubrication and swelling ng clitoris and inner lips. Ito ay nagpapalit ng kulay from pink to red to burgundy or medyo purple nang dating. Bumabalik ito sa normal na kulay niya after orgasm or when the arousal has subsided.
May kasama itong pangangati at pamamaga.
Kung wala ka namang ibang sintomas na nararamdaman, your OB may be describing your inner vagina or cervix as healthy and pink. Usually hindi mo naman ito makikita with just the mirror at puwedeng ang iyong dine-describe as purple is your natural color lang. You can wait for your next physical exam or appointment to verify this. Siguro ask your doctor to show you what they are talking about through the mirror para you can understand it better.
Knowing about your body and genitals is very liberating and is a good experience to have. After all, it is your body and it will help you be more confident and proud of your sexuality. Always enjoy and keep safe!
With love and lust,
Doc Rica
