Looks like Jane de Leon will be able to strut her stuff as Darna after all.
Or is she?
Reports have it that de Leon is set to don the classic komiks heroine’s famous red two-piece for a planned TV series set to air early next year.
An ABS-CBN insider said the “Darna” series will first be seen on ABS-CBN’s streaming platform, iWantTFC.
They are also looking at the possibility of the series being shown via A2Z Channel 11.
ABS-CBN is yet to confirm the report.
Same goes with the actual movie version that has long been delayed due to numerous debacles, wich is said to be pushing through as well with de Leon playing the title role.
It isn’t known if it will still helmed by Jerrold Tarog.
