The Philippines has set the Guinness World Record for tallest tin can structure.
Guinness posted on Wednesday, Dec. 2, a video of the structure, erected by Mega Global Corporation at a warehouse in Valenzuela City on Nov. 24.
The structure is made of 70,638 sardine cans and measures 5.905 meters (19 feet and 4.5 inches) high.
Valenzuela Mayor Rex Gatchalian said the sardines will be donated to Filipino families who are suffering from the effects of COVID-19 pandemic.
“The city of Valenzuela and myself, we are extremely proud to be the host of a Guinness World Record holder for having the highest tin can structure,” Gatchalian said in a video message.
