The TV series starring the Filipino actor and Momoland’s Nancy McDonie is pushing through next year.
This was announced by Dreamscape Entertainment on social media.
Note the TV series was earlier slated for release this year but was eventually put on hold due to the pandemic.
A trailer of the series, dubbed “The Soulmate Project,” was streamed recently.
The series is set in a version of the Philippines where the government enacts a law that matches citizens with their soulmates, under the fictional Republic Act 143, or The Soulmate Project.
In the series, Reid portrays Jayson, from Tondo, Manila, who gets picked by the government for a third-batch implementation of the law. McDonie, meanwhile, is Binna, a Korean-American who lives in the Philippines.
