TUGUEGARAO CITY – A policeman from the Madella police station in Quirino reported missing since Dec. 29 was found dead in Addalam River in Barangay Cabugao, Aglipay, Quirino last Saturday.
Police Lt. Col. Andree Abella, Police Regional Office 2 information officer, identified the victim as Police Chief Master Sgt. Dexter Manicap Altre.
Barangay Cabugao chairman Frederick Galam reported to the Aglipay police station that one of his constituents found the body of Altre floating in the river at around 12:45 p.m.
The victim was positively identified by his son Denver.
The remains of officer Altre were brought to Maddela where an autopsy will be conducted. (Liezle Basa Inigo)
