NLEX formally signed JR Quinahan, Raul Soyud, and Michael Miranda to contract extensions last Wednesday.
Player agent Danny Espiritu posted separate photos of Quinahan and Soyud bumping fists with Road Warriors executive Ronald Dulatre after inking on the dotted line at the NLEX office in Balintawak, Quezon City.
Terms were not disclosed but NLEX management is thrilled to keep the three players in the fold.
Quinahan was the Road Warriors’ third leading scorer in the recent PBA Philippine Cup bubble with 13.8 points on 42 percent shooting while grabbing 6.6 rebounds and dishing out three assists in 11 games.
Soyud emerged as coach Yeng Guiao’s biggest revelation after posting 10 points on 74 percent shooting and 6.8 rebounds. His performance made the former University of the Philippines standout a candidate for the Most Improved Player award.
Miranda had 6.7 points and 4.4 rebounds but is known for his rugged presence on both ends of the paint.
The Road Warriors fell short of making the playoffs after posting a 5-6 record, no thanks to a 1-5 start.
