The Petro Gazz Angels unveiled their three new recruits in their bid for a second title in the Premier Volleyball League.
In a social media post Wednesday night, the team officially welcomed Mean Mendrez, Ria Meneses and Kath Arado after losing five key players to free agency.
The three players are coming from the Generika-Ayala Lifesavers, who are taking a leave of absence in the Philippine Superliga.
A former University of the East standout, Meneses won 2nd Best Outside Hitter in the PSL, while Meneses, a product of University of Santo Tomas, was PSL’s Best Blocker in the 2018 All-Filipino Conference.
Arado, also a former UE mainstay, is a national team member who competed in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.
The team had earlier revealed its first of six recruits in middle blocker Seth Rodriguez.
