The Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors will be without their four tested players in the coming season.
In a social media post late Monday, the team bid goodbye to Royse Tubino, Regine Arocha, Aie Gannaban and Marist Layug to free agency in the Philippine Superliga.
“Your time as Lady Realtors was short but memorable to the Sta Lucia family for sure. Thank you, Royse, Regine, Marist and Aie!” the post read.
“We wish you the best in whatever is next. May you find GREENER pastures that will lead you to more GOLDEN moments.”
All four were signed last season before pandemic forced most tournaments to be cancelled.
Tubino was an opposite hitter who steered the Lady Realtors to a runner-up finish in the 2020 PSL Super Cup while Arocha was a two-time Finals Most Valuable Player from three-time NCAA champion Arellano University.
The former Arellano Lady Chiefs signed with Sta Lucia in June last year along with Layug.
Gannaban, for her part, was a middle blocker for the University of the Philippines and joined the team at the start of the 2020 season.
