SAN PEDRO CITY, Laguna – Six robbers all dressed in black abducted two of their four victims after ransacking their house Sunday night in Barangay Pacita 2 here.
Police said they are hunting down the suspects who barged into the house occupied by victims Rica Bartolome, Ruffa Bantog, Jonathan David and Vinz Flores at Block 4A, Lot 1, Beach Nut Street, Southview Homes 1 in Barangay Pacita 2, at around 8:30 p.m..
According to police report, the suspects wearing black jackets, black pants, black bull caps and black face masks, all armed with long guns, entered the house and tied the victims’ hands with phone charger cable.
They then go through the house, taking pieces of jewelry, 12 pairs or robber shoes, ATM cards, four smart phones, and a laptop.
After ransacking the place, the suspects escaped, taking with them David and Flores aboard a dark gray Toyota Fortuner model 2018 with license plate 2090, which is owned by one of the victims.
San Pedro City policemen, intelligence and Special and Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams launched a manhunt against the robbery group.
Police said the Toyota Fortuner was recovered in Binan City during the follow-up operation, but the two abducted victims remained missing as of Monday afternoon.
