LAGUNA – Two men who were abducted by six heavily armed robbers in San Pedro City were found dead early Monday morning on a bridge in Kalayaan town here, police reported Tuesday.
Investigators said the bodies of Jonathan David, 29, and Vinz Flores alias Ulo, 20, were discovered on Alagao bridge at around 4 a.m. Monday, more than seven hours after they were kidnapped by “men in black” who ransacked their house at Block 4A, Lot 1, Beach Nut Street, Southview Homes 1, Barangay Pacita 2, San Pedro, Laguna.
They bore bullet wounds in the head and their hands were tied behind with an electric wire, police said.
One Ronald Fadrigala, a staff member of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO), reported the death of the victims to the Kalayaan Municipal Police Station.
Based on the report of San Pedro City Police, the two victims along with Rica Bartolome and Ruffa Bantos were inside their house at about 8:30 p.m. on Sunday when six men wearing black jackets, black pants, black bull caps, and black face masks, barged in.
The suspects, armed with long firearms, tied the victims’ hands with charger cable before they ransacked the house, taking away pieces of jewelry, P50,000 cash, smartphones, a laptop, 12 pairs of shoes, and ATM cards.
The suspects then forcibly took David and Flores in their escape aboard the victims’ Toyota Fortuner with licensed plate number 2090.
The vehicle was later found abandoned in Binan City. The bodies of the victims were identified by their relatives, probers said.
