SWEET SURRENDER: In a conversation through text messages last December, Kris Aquino told me she has surrendered her showbiz career to God.
I asked her about her TV comeback, preferably on a talk show, and she replied:
“Whatever happens will all be in God’s time and according to His plan.’’
In my book, Kris remains one of the best TV interviewers. She’s well informed, has depth, style, humour.
She ought to be seen again on free TV.
But, like Kris said, it’s all up to the universe to chart her next moves.
MOVING OUT: What’s heartwarming to this one mountain-bred provinciano is Kris’ decision to move out of Metro Manila and into the countryside this February.
Learned that Kris and her children are relocating to a beachfront house in an unnamed province.
It seems the small family of three enjoyed their long vacation at a beachfront home in Mindoro at the height of the lockdown in 2020 that they have opted to be based in a similar location for the meantime.
SEASIDE LIVING: Kris said she’s renting a seaside property for six months as a birthday gift for herself. She turns 50 on Feb 14.
Why is she leaving Metro Manila?
For health reasons, she clears. Kris says her priority at this point are her health and her two boys.
She’s aware that under this pandemic, her immunity is compromised due to her autoimmune condition.
Meanwhile, Kris also said that her older son, Joshua, now 13, has been living in Tarlac for sometime.
