The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) said Sunday that it is exhausting all means to locate an employee who went missing last Friday in Marikina City.
DSWD spokesperson Irene Dumlao said they are closely coordinating with the family of Social Welfare Officer II Justine Charles M. Accad who went missing after leaving his home in Malanday, Marikina.
“At present, tine-trace po ‘yung mga nakasama n’ya and we are in close coordination with his family,” she said in a Viber message. “All necessary assistance will be extended to the family,” Dumlao assured.
Accad, 30, was last seen last Feb. 19 at 7 a.m. in Marikina, the DSWD-National Capital Region (NCR) said in its public service announcement on Facebook.
He was on his way to the San Juan City Hall to fulfill his duties aboard a bluish silver Honda Civic FD when he went missing at 9 a.m. Accad was wearing a black polo shirt, black slacks, and brown leather shoes.
His pregnant live-in partner, Jessa P. Muncada, 25, also a DSWD employee, said Accad did not reach the San Juan City Hall.
Muncada said Accad usually brings a minimum of P1-million cash to the DSWD-San Juan every Friday during payout for the hospitalization and other assistance sought by residents from the DSWD.
Muncada, who is four-month pregnant, said Accad was very excited to be a father and added that they were about to get married on April 11.
“Our last conversation was about our wedding as I reminded him to pay the seminar for our wedding. He even asked for the bank details so he could settle it,” she added.
Muncada said they have already coordinated with the police, but there is still no lead about his whereabouts.
Information about his whereabouts may be relayed to Muncada at 09178976392 or 09176820404.
