ALAMINOS CITY, Pangasinan – A 35-year-old laborer was electrocuted and plunged to his death from the rooftop of a gymnasium under construction in Barangay Tangcarang here Thursday.
Police Major Arturo Melchor, Pangasinan police spokesperson, identified the victim as Rick Catillano of Barangay Liwa-Liwa, Bolinao, this province.
According to the Alaminos police, the victim fell slipped from the rooftop of a gymnasium under construction. Catillano hung on to a live wire, was electrocuted, and slammed into the concrete ground, case investigator Police Senior Master Sgt. Gerald J. Mamanta said.
Catillano was taken to the Western Pangasinan District Hospital where he was pronounced dead-on-arrival by Dr. Al Bryan Flores. (Liezle Basa Inigo)
