DAGUPAN CITY – A 26-year-old lady dentist was shot and wounded Sunday afternoon by two motorcycle-riding men while aboard her car along Don Severino Street in Bunuan Boquig here.
Lt. Col. Louise Benjie Tremor, chief of police here, identified the victim as Cristine Joy dela Peña, 26, a resident of San Jacinto, Pangasinan.
Police said the victim was riding her car along with her driver Kingsly Yadao, 27, riding and other passenger Laila, 29, at about 3 p.m. when two motorcycle-riding men fired shots at her from behind.
Dela Pena sustained gunshot wounds in the shoulders and was rushed to Region 1 Medical Center.
