CIW temporarily bars inmates from receiving items

The Correctional Institute for Women (CIW) in Mandaluyong City has temporarily barred its inmates from accepting any items.

The CIW made the move after the government imposed a general community quarantine bubble in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

“Sa kadahilanang ang Metro Manila ay muling sumasailalim sa General Community Quarantine (GCQ), ang PAABOT SERVICE para sa mga PDL ay pansamantala po munang kinakansela ng pamunuan ng Correctional Institution for Women,” the CIW said in its social media account posted on Wednesday.

“Maaari pong maghintay at mabasa sa aming page ang mga susunod na mga anunsyo,” it added. (Jeffrey Damicog)
