Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso said Friday that four district hospitals in Manila will no longer accept new COVID-19 patients as they have already reached full capacity.
The four hospitals are Ospital ng Sampaloc, Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center, Sta. Ana Hospital, and Ospital ng Maynila.
Domagoso said it is not simple to just put up additional COVID beds because it also means adding more healthcare workers.
The city chief executive also said that a mask is the only protection needed against the COVID-19.
