The Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) and leading biscuit company Republic Buscuit Corp. or Rebisco sealed on Tuesday a three-year sponsorship agreement to support all of the national sports association’s programs.
PNVF President Ramon “Tats” Suzara and Rebisco President Jonathan Ng signed the contracts in a virtual signing ceremony witnessed by federation officials, Rebisco executives led by Rebisco Business Unit Head Noric Ng and Corporate Plan Head Rolando Delfino, Philippine Olympic Committee Secretary General Atty. Edwin Gastanes and Philippine Sports Commission Commissioner Charles Raymond Maxey.
“This is indeed a momentous occasion not only for the volleyball community but for the whole of Philippine sports,” said Suzara right after the online signing ceremony. “I’m glad that volleyball is alive under these circumstances.”
“Through the long-term partnership, Rebisco and PNVF will have proper preparation and exposure in international competitions,” Ng said.
The partnership is good for three years.
Rebisco’s sponsorship, Suzara and Noric Ng explained, covers the PNVF’s national teams and grassroots programs.
“Volleyball has been close to Rebisco’s heart and we are committed to pursue our passion on volleyball,” Noric Ng said.
