This is basically what “Dulo” is about.
Written and directed by actor Fifth Solomon for Viva, “Dulo” stars real-life couple Diego Loyzaga and Barbie Imperial.
In it, Diego is Dex and Barbie is Bianca. Both in their early 20s, the two will meet via a dating app. None too soon, they will decide to live together.
As quick as their relationship evolved, they soon find themselves quarreling about anything and everything.
Hoping to re-ignite the dying embers of their love, Dex and Bianca will go on a road trip.
It seems like a good idea at first but the long drive will prove itself trying with old issues and problems resurfacing along the way.
Will Dex and Bianca be able to save their relationship?
According to Diego, the film is an honest-to-goodness look at how kids nowadays handle relationships.
“That’s what it is, basically. It’s an unembellished look at how young people are living and loving these days and it’s an eye opener. Hopefully, viewers will learn a lot from it,” he said.
Barbie added, “Totoong-totoo siya in a way there are times na medyo nakakatakot panoorin na parang ganoon kaya mangyayari sa akin? Sa relationship ko? Paano kaya maiiwasan ito? I’m sure maraming makaka-relate sa characters namin sa pelikula.”
Fans are excited to see the film already.
