Fil-Japanese golfer Yuka Saso has signed a multi-year equipment deal with Callaway Golf, joining an elite stable led by Phil Mickelson, Jon Rahm and Xander Schauffele.
The company announced this Tuesday where Saso, the reigning US Women’s Open Champion will debut her new bag of Callaway woods, irons, wedges, ball and an Odyssey putter at this month’s Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in Orlando, Florida.
“We’ve just added a MAJOR addition to the roster for 2022! Welcome to the Callaway family, Yuka Saso!” the company posted on its Facebook page.
Aside from Saso, the company has also signed PGA Tour winner Abraham Ancer to its fold.
Saso made heads turn last year with her historic victory at the US Women’s Open where she equaled Inbee Park as the youngest winner in tournament history at 19 years old.
She is currently ranked No. 8 in the Rolex World Rankings and went as high as No. 5 last October.
Saso, who finished tied for ninth at the Tokyo Olympics, has consistently made it to the Top 10 since June last year.
