The tandem of Jose Sarasola and Iya Villania return to TV via the third season of cooking show “Eat Well, Live Well, Stay Well.”
Both are excited to share new recipes to viewers, all of which , they said, are appropriate for the times.
“Because we’re still in the pandemic and we want to make dining at home ‘special’ pa rin somehow,” said Jose.
Of course, it goes without saying the recipes they are to share are not only yummy but healthy as well.
“We have to protect our health, lalo na ngayong panahon so yes, inasmuch as we all still can’t go out, we will help you prepare recipes that are simple yet delicious and healthy,” Jose related.
Iya is excited to try and recreate the recipes for her family.
“Actually masaya ako kasi parang andami kong bagong natutunan. Besides that, gusto ko yung idea na yung ingredients nang recipes namin are something na we often have at home. Hindi mahirap gawin, in short.”
Asked to share a few of the recipes, Iya noted that they have one for tilapia and another for eggplant.
“Meron kaming sinanglay na tilapia, we cooked it na may gata. Tapos ‘yung pechay wrap, I think that’s something new that will be offering. Then there’s the tortang talong na simple and usual pero we will make it exciting and new.”
Jose maintained allowing for a twist in the recipe is exciting for a chef like him.
“The tortang talong is a perfect example kasi basic lang siya but with the twist and of course, Ajinomoto, kumbaga ni-level up talaga namin.”
“Eat Well, Live Well, Stay Well, airs Fridays, 11 a.m. on GMA.
