Manny Pacquiao may have called it quits but he is set to return to the boxing ring against Korean YouTuber DK Yoo in December. But the match is just an exhibition.
A contract signing is set to take place at the Shangri-La The Fort in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig on July 20 with both fighters present.
Yoo, a martial artist with over 650K subscribers on YouTube, announced more than two weeks ago that he will be fighting the eight-division world boxing champion.
Pacquiao, who retired from boxing after his loss against Yordenis Ugas, was also part of the short clip.
“DK Yoo, see you in the special event this coming December. God bless and be safe. Thank you,” said the 43-year-old Pacquiao, who ran for presidency but failed after his retirement.
The video also showed the two posing a strike at Pacquiao’s house in General Santos City as well as “signed contracts” for the exhibition fight.
Yoo fought with former UFC fighter Bradley Scott in a boxing match in December last year while Pacquiao ended his professional stint with a 62 wins, built on 39 knockouts and, and eight losses.
