Maine Mendoza and Arjo are now engaged.
The actresss took to social media to share the happy news to fans.
Uploading some photos taken during Arjo’s proposal, Maine wrote: “Wait, whaaaat??? We’re engaged?!”
Celebrity friends were quick to congratulate her.
These include Maja Salvador and Pauleen Luna.
Ria Atayde, Arjo’s sister, also expressed elation on the matter.
Same with Arjo’s mom, Sylvia Sanchez, who vowed to treat Maine like her very own daughter.
Meanwhile, Arjo shared more pictures of the engagement on his Instagram feed.
“My turn, I will marry you cutie. (heart emoji) 07.28.22,” he wrote.
It was only late last year when the two marked their third anniversary as sweethearts.
