Vhong Navarro has admitted to having done wrong. But not where it concerns him supposedly raping Deniece Cornejo.
The Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office has filed a rape case against the TV host and actor with the Taguig Regional Trial Court over the alleged rape of model-stylist, Aug. 31.
Prosecutors accused him of raping Deniece through “force, threat, and intimidation” and by purposely intoxicating her on January 17, 2014.
Meanwhile, the Taguig RTC ordered holding off the raffling of the case until Vhong’s motion for reconsideration and urgent motion for the issuance of a status quo ante order before the Court of Appeals are resolved.
The filing of the case occurred after the Court of Appeals approved Deniece’s petition questioning the decision of the Department of Justice (DOJ) in an earlier case filed against Vhong.
