Gomezian got off to his patented start and won the 2022 Philracom Lakambini Stakes held recently at the San Lazaro Business and Leisure Park in Carmona, Cavite.
The Freddie Santos-owned progeny of Sakima out of Hot Yoga outkicked top pick Radio Bell for the early lead behind the superb riding of Oneal Cortez which they wisely protected the rest of the 1,600-meter journey to prevail.
The win was worth for P1.2 million for Santos and his connections after Gomezian clocked a fast time of 1:42.4 (25-24′-25-28)
Radio Bell took home P450,000 for placing second while Enigma Uno and Tinago Falls wound up third and fourth worth P250,000 and P100,000, respectively.

The Super Saver out of Boy Crazy offspring was just watching the pace being set by American Factor and Shastaloo until the half-mile pole where both he and Time for Glory made their move to have their own “one-on-one” duel before dashing for glory in the last 100 meters.
The one-length victory was worth P600,000 for the owner of Starrininmydreams while Time For Glory rewarded his own owner P225,000.
