Japanese rapper Tomoro wants the attention of Pinoys.
Apparently, he likes the local vibe.
He told us, “I’m a regular visitor. I like it here. The women are beautiful. The weather is always nice. People are very friendly.”
Helping Tomoro in his mission to win the heart of Pinoys is actor Polo Ravales.
According to Polo, Tomoro is more than just a rapper.
“Businessman talaga siya,” he shared. “May mga restaurants siya sa Japan. Nung pinakilala siya sa akin sabi niya gusto niya magpatulong makilala sa bansa so, ito, tinutulungan ko siya.”
Tomoro likes it that Pinoys are very much into rap.
He said, “I know Filipinos love rap that’s why I want them to hear my music too.”
He has met a few of the country’s rap acts including Abra and the late D-Coy.
“I actually did a song with D-Coy before,” he said referring to the track he released earlier titled “Corona Virus.”
He is now out with a new song titled “Let Me Hold You” in collaboration with American-Jamaican singer Sean Kingston.
The accompanying music video features hottie Arci Muñoz.
Tomoro was quick to downplay suggestion he is making sweet music with the actress, though.
“Arci Muñoz is a good friend. She likes music too so we decided to collaborate on the video,” Tomoro cleared.
He is hoping to stage a live show here someday.
“It will happen yes, but I need to plan for that,” remarked Tomoro, urging us that for now, we should just simply watch out for more songs from him.
