American boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has arrived in Manila Tuesday night, Sept. 27, for a business trip slated within the week.
Mayweather will be attending a project for Frontrow as he was welcomed by its founders Cong. Sam Verzosa and RS Francisco.
The 45-year-old Mayweather, fresh from a 2nd round knockout win against a Japanese MMA fighter in an exhibition match in Tokyo, arrived in the country on his private jet.
This marks his second visit to the Philippines after setting foot for the first time last May 2019 for a Frontrow event as well.
“I love it. Great place, great people, I love the weather. Glad to be back,” said Mayweather in an interview with News5 who has an unbeaten record of 50 wins built on 27 knockouts.
“I worked with Frontrow before, I’m back to work with them again. I’m always here for them and they have always been there for me.”
