Will you betray someone for money?
For how much?
This is the dilemma faced by Franki Russell’s character in Vivamax’s “Pabuya.”
In it, she’s Bella, a sweet and loving woman who shares history with Pepe, a criminal played by Diego Loyzaga.
Trying to elude authorities after killing a rival, Pepe runs to the person he trusts the most: Bella.
All is well, until Bella was informed that there’s a price on Pepe’s head.
Will she betray his trust?
Director Philip Giordano relates, “It basically tackles the idea of money being the root of all evil, that it could destroy even the most innocent of hearts.”
Diego is proud of the work he did in “Pabuya.”
“I think this is the most daring role I ever played. I did things here that I never thought I would,” he said.
The actor specifically mentions the love scenes he did with Franki.
“It’s quite graphic,” he said. “I think it’s the wildest thing I ever did on film.”
This is Franki’s first film ever.
But she is no shrinking violet.
She told us, “I’ve always been confident of my body. I believe if you got it, flaunt it.”
Is she open to baring more in succeeding projects?
“Well, now that I’ve done it, I think I am more confident moving forward.”
“Pabuya” is now available on Vivamax.
