Tera wants to carve a niche in the music industry. She is doing so releasing “Higher Dosage,” a song about dealing with struggles.
“I want to be different,” Tera told us. “There are already a lot of songs out there dealing with heartbreak, love… I want to offer audiences something deeper, more meaningful.”
She believes many could relate to “Higher Dosage.”
“Everyone of us experience some sort of struggle so I think many could identify with the subject matter.”
Tera was officially launched by Merlion Events Production Inc. via a grand shindig held Oct. 25, at the Seda Vertis North Hotel in Quezon City.
There, Tera performed two other originals, “Façade” and “Sa Dilim.”
“This is a dream come true for me. I love music. I’ve been performing since I was little. I never got tired of sharing my craft. To be here now, to experience this moment is a huge thrill. I could only be grateful,” said an excited Tera.
Tera is ready for anything – even harsh criticism.
“There will always be critics. But I am here to share my music and nothing will stop me,” she said.
“Ultimately, I hope that people would relate to my song and be blown away by my performances,” she added.
Tera is hoping to work with the likes of KZ Tandingan and Sarah Geronimo.
“I don’t believe in competition. We are all artists. I hope that like them, I could make a significant mark in this industry as well.”
Her management, Tyronne Escalante Artist Management (TEAM), is adamant Tera is the next big thing.
Tyronne enthused, “Tera is the complete package. She could play different musical instruments, she could write songs, she has a beautiful voice and most importantly, she is a natural-born performer. We can’t wait for everyone to know her and be just as amazed with her… She brings something distinct to the country’s music scene and we’re supporting her all the way.”
