Boy Abunda misses doing TV work.
He admitted this during a recent interview, relating, “I’m at that stage where I want to go back to television. That’s what I do best. So I want to be able to do what I do best again.”
Of late, there are talks that he is going back to GMA.
Boy would rather keep mum on the matter.
Prodded further however, he quipped, “‘Di ako magsisinungaling. May mga kausap ako but I can’t divulge anything right now. To be clear, wala pa akong pinipirmahan (na kontrata).”
“Basta doon ako sa naniniwala at magtitiwala sa aking kakayahan. You will all eventually know about it.”
Is it happening soon?
Boy simply laughed, adding “Probably.”
Boy has been busy despite the closure of ABS-CBN.
“I hosted a lot of Zoom conferences,” he shared. “It kept me busy during the pandemic.”
He has since established a show for himself on social media.
“Kailangan sumabay sa agos. Even at this point I can’t afford to just sit still. Mahirap. It took some adjustments pero I’m enjoying it. Iba rin siya. Mas immediate ang response na makukuha mo from your viewers.”
He is also back to endorsing products including the international remittance app Sendwave.
Boy shared, “Ang Sendwave ang isang fee-free remittance app na gawang Amerika which recognizes the power of the OFWs and they tapped into it. They partnered with the biggest e-wallet app in the Philippines, ang G-Cash, to make remittances easier and hassle-free. Ang tagline nga nila, ‘Fee-free.’”
“Maganda ang ideya. Hindi makakaltasan ng any amount ang padala unlike when they’re using traditional padala system,” he added.
