Actor Andrew Schimmer took to social media Tuesday, Dec. 20 to announce his wife Jho Rovero’s passing.
The actor posted on Facebook a photo of him holding his wife’s hand, writing as caption: “The Love of my Life…my wife..my best friend.. my partner in everything. Remember your promise, together forever.”
It quickly went viral, with supporters expressing sympathies.
In a separate video post on Facebook, Andrew shared he was at work taping an episode of “Family Feud” when he was informed by doctors about his wife’s deteriorating condition.
He quickly rushed to be at his wife’s side, but to no avail.
Jho was confined for more than a year at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City prior to her demise.
She was brought there after suffering from a severe asthma attack that led to hypoxia.
The couple has two children.
