A new show is to make its debut on TV.
Note it is not your run-of-the-mill talk show.
Titled “TikTalk,” it is billed as unique, different.
Attesting to it is the show’s main host and co-producer, multi-awarded, veteran broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez.
“We designed it that way – that it be different. Real talk. Real people representing different tribes. No holds barred,” said Korina.
“Kaya edit na lang kami nang edit, hahaha,” laughs co-producer Jojie Dingcong.
The two are the brains behind Media Kweens, Inc.
Joining Korina in the show are: G3 San Diego, a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community who speaks boldly about being a transwoman.
There’s also Pat P. Daza, radio commentator, TV host and single mom.
Adding to the fun is Kakai Bautista, an opinionated singer-actress-comedienne prone to bursting into song.
Lastly, the only male in the group, Alex Calleja.
He is described by Jojie as “a comedic genius.”
So, what sort of topics are going to be discussed on the show.
Why, anything and everything, of course!
These include answering questions like: Are men really allowed to cheat more than women? Why do Pinoys like fair skin? why do a lot of us are opting for nose surgery? Why do some of us still slaughter and eat dogs?
“TikTalk” will have a Christmas special this Saturday, Dec. 24 (7:30 pm) on TV5; 8 pm on OnePH; and on Radyo 5 92.3 News FM.
The first three episodes of the show are available on YouTube via Rated Korina Plus.
