BATANG Kankaloo-Caloocan overwhelmed Bagong Cabuyao-Homelab Nation 107-80 last Monday night for its fifth straight win and gained solo fifth in the Manila Bankers Life-Pilipinas Super League Pro Division Second Conference Dumper Cup at the Caloocan Sports Complex.
Nhomer Gonzales fired 13 points and grabbed four rebounds for the Koolers, while former PBA big man Gabby Espinas chipped in 13 points and a board.
Paul Sanga and Riordan Galicia also had 12 and 11 points, respectively for Caloocan, which scored a fitting follow up to a 96-86 win over Cagayan de Oro-PSP last Dec. 19 and rose to 5-1 in the event presented by Winzir and co-presented by SCD Cosmetics and Dumper party-list, and supported by NET 25, Adcon, Wcube Solutions Inc., MDC, Unisol, Don Benitos, and Finn Cotton.
Coming off an 83-103 drubbing at the hands of the Pampanga G Lanterns, Cabuyao fell to 1-5.

Former PBA star Mac Cardona led four other teammates in double-digits with 15 points, five rebounds, and four assists for the Islanders, while Jeymark Mallari added 12 points.
Joseph Peñaredondo, Jaymar Gimpayan, and Damian Lasco tallied 12, 10, and 10 points, respectively as Boracay did an encore to a 79-62 ripping of 1Munti last Dec. 22 and improved to 3-4.
