It took only 11 seconds for the newest bare knuckle star Dondon ‘Rugby Boy’ Serrano from Cebu to dismantle veteran mixed martial artist Richard ‘ The Cannibal’ Redman of Fist Gym and rule the 170 pounds class of the URCC ’82 Royal Knuckle Tuesday night at the jam-packed Royal Knight Club of A-Venue in Makati City.
Serrano, 31, attacked relentless at the sound of the opening bell, coming through with lightning punches that caught Redman off-guard and went on to win the match.
The swift win thrilled the golden-haired Serrano that he shouted: “Rugby Boy is here…kung sino pa ang maghahamon, call ako anytime , anywhere, yeow!”
In the undercards, Tirso ‘The Mechanic’ Torres won over Rocky Vergara via majority decision in 125 lbs division and Edemel Catalan of Catalan Fighting System outpointed Rexelmar Liloc in the 115 pounder.
At 145 pounds category, Leonard ‘Deadshot’ Pornia defeated Jeffrey Suble via TKO.
Not to be outdone was Allan “Manunusok ‘ Wycoco, who manhandled Stephen Atok to score a second round RSC (referee-stopped-contest) in the most applauded bout of the night.
Other winners, were John Marvin ‘Marble’ Callueng, who defeated Jovanie Bualan via submission in the 155 pounds, Mark ‘Deadshot’ Sadang, who scored a first round knockout win over Rogelio ‘Thunder Flash ‘ Enumerables, Marvin Malunes, who pounded out a 2nd round stoppage win over Wilson ‘ Ongbak’ Managuio.
