From looking like Alma Moreno, she was able to transform into a young hottie resembling Vivamax star Ayanna Misola.
With her new look, Maricar is now set on her ultimate crush and dream guy, online sensation Mikko.
Of course, thanks to her extreme makeover, she can now charm Mikko and make him fall for her.
Can she finally be happy and satisfied?
Will her transformation last forever or is it like a spell that will wear off when the time comes?
This, in a nutshell, is what “Salamat Daks,” a new film set to stream in Vivamax on March 10.
Note the real-life Alma Moreno and Ayanna Misola star in the film.
Said Ayanna, “Nakaka-challenge i-act out si Miss Alma Moreno. Natakot ako actually nung una, baka hindi ko makuha. Pero, thankfully, with the guidance of our director, Bobby Bonifacio, pumasa naman.”
According to Bobby, who also wrote the film, it is mainly a funny look into the world of cosmetic surgery.
“Na-inspire ako after seeing all these ads na nagpa-pop out while browsing through social media. Ang dami daming procedures na inaalok. Naisip ko, sino sino kaya ang mga taong nag-i-invest ng time and money dito? Ano kaya ang tumatakbo sa isip nila? Pero nung sinulat ko na, inisip ko, magiging mas entertaining siya as a comedy so, ito we have a sexy-comedy movie.”
Also starring Nikko Natividad, Giselle Sanchez, Andrew Muhlach, Bob Jbeili, Shiena Yu, Debbie Garcia and Millen Gal.
