PHNOM PENH, Cambodia —Four Filipinos advanced to the final round in the obstacle race course event Wednesday, May 3, in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games at the Chroy Changvar Convention Center Car Park here.
Jaymark Rodelas and Popoy Pascua displayed their agility by clocking 25.0921 and 26.1896 seconds to move in the gold-medal round of the 100-meter men’s individual.
According to Pilipinas Obstacle Sports Federation President Al Agra, the times posted by Rodelas and Cabuya bettered the registered marks in the World Obstacle and Guinness World Records.
But those marks are still subject for confirmation.
Precious Cabuya and Kaizen dela Serna also made their presence felt, producing posted fastest times of 33.1278sec and 34.8634sec to be contention for the gold medal in the distaff side.
The PH team guns to replicate its successful showing in the 2019 edition held in Manila where the sport was last held where they swept all six gold medals at stake.
