“The Rain In España,” Studio Viva’s first ever series, starring showbiz’ hottest tandem, Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gumabao, is to air on TV5 starting this Sunday, May 14, 4pm.
The series, based on the hit “University Series” on Wattpad by Gwy Saludes, is making huge noise as of writing.
Apparently, many are impressed with Heaven and Marco’s special chemistry.
And to think it is only their first-ever project as a love team.
The series has the two portraying Luna and Kalix, now dubbed by fans as LuKal.
Luna is a perky and persistent architecture student who is after the attention of the handsome yet mysterious legal management student, Kalix.
Adding spice to the show are their friends as portrayed by Bea Binene, Gab Lagman, Aubrey Caraan, Nicole Omillo, Krissha Viaje, Andre Yllana, Frost Sandoval, Gabby Padilla, and Francis Magundayao.
At the helm of the series is Director Theodore Boborol who has successfully directed romantic comedies both for TV and the big screen.
These include projects such as “Be Careful with My Heart (2013),” “Forevermore (2015),” “Vince, Kath, & James (2016),” among many others.
“The Rain In España” will run for a total of 10 episodes with each new and full uncut episode to be released first
on Viva One Mondays.
The cast will be busy with provincial tours, mall tours, and show appearances in the coming weeks.
