A sweet, beautiful 15-year-old Caviteña is slowly inching her way to stardom.
Her name? Lizzie Aguinaldo.
Yes, she is related to former president Emilio Aguinaldo.
But she’d rather make her mark in music rather than politics.
Why?
Lizzie shared, “Dream ko na talaga bata pa po ako to become a recording artist. Mahilig po talaga ako sa music. Mahilig ako kumanta, magperform in public.”
Her debut single, released under Star Music, is titled “Baka Pwede Na.”
It was written by Joven Tan.
She said, “Sobrang nakakakilig yung kanta. I really like it. I think many from my generation would relate to it. It’s about young love.”
But has she experienced love at her age?
“Crush crush lang po. Hindi pa po puwede,” Lizzie said, smiling.
Entering show business at a young age, Lizzie admitted, “Kinakabahan ako na na-e-excite kasi siyempre bago pa lang po ako pero I’m thankful sa support ng family and friends ko. Sa kanila ako kumukuha ng lakas at confidence talaga.”
She is hoping to be able to work with her favorite singers.
“Gusto ko po maka-collab si Zack Tabudlo. I like his music,” she said.
Note that apart from singing, Lizzie is also eager to try her hand at acting.
She related, “Nag-audition na rin ako ilang times for shows, movies. Although wala pa pong nagma-materalize, I’m willing to keep on trying until I get my chance. For now focus po muna ako sa music.”
“Baka Pwede Na” is now available in various streaming sites.
