Jervi Li, more popularly known as KaladKaren, signed a contract with ABS-CBN’s talent management arm Star Magic Monday.
The TV host-actress shared her excitement over the development in an interview.
“I never thought that I’m gonna reach this far. I am so happy and blessed,” she said.
“This is actually a dream come true. Bata pa lang ako pinangarap ko na ito. Star Magic kasi has produced industry A-listers since time immemorial. Kaya it’s such an honor and privilege for me to be a part of this family.”
She admitted there were other companies that offered to manage her career.
Kaladkaren related, “Hindi ako magpapakahipokrito. Maraming nag-offer pero, I guess, I feel really at home here. I feel loved. Komportable ako talaga with Star Magic.”
She added, “I know there’s a purpose behind it. And, I will serve my purpose and I am always praying to be an inspiration to a lot of people.”
According to Kaladkaren, Star Magic has lined up several projects for her.
“I can’t share details yet pero meron na like a movie and a teleserye,” she said, thanking Star Magic for their trust.
As to actors she wants to be paired with, Kaladkaren mentioned the likes of Gerald Anderson, Zanjoe Marudo, Jake Cuenca and Joshua Garcia.

Kaladkaren first gained notice impersonating Karen Davila.
She would go on to make history being the first transwoman to win Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in the comedy film “Here Comes the Groom.”
KaladKaren is part of the ongoing iWantTFC series “Drag You & Me.”
