AiAi Delas Alas is teaming up anew with film director Louie Ignacio via “Litrato.”
This early, many are already predicting good things relating the film.
Note the two are a winning pair, with past efforts “School Service” and “Area,” earning them both a slew of awards here and abroad.
It is mainly the reason why AiAi readily said yes to “Litrato.”
She told us, “Malaki ang tiwala ko kay Direk Louie. Siyempre nga kasi diba, yung mga past collaborations namin e nanalo ako ng acting awards so, nung binanggit niya sa akin ito, although may takot ako, umo-o na rin ako.”
AiAi’s trepidation stems from the fact that her role in “Litrato” is something she hasn’t done yet.
She related, “Una kasi lola ako dito e, for the first time.
With her continued foray into drama, AiAi asked if she’s still willing to go back to her roots, which is comedy.
“Siyempre, open pa rin tayo diyan,” she said. “Iba rin ang fulfillment sa pagpapatawa. At diyan din naman ako nagsimula. Pero mahirap. Mahirap magpatawa sa totoo lang. Siguro, kung may magandang material, tignan natin.”
Produced by 3:16 Media Network, “Litrato,” also starring Quinn Carillo, Bodjie Pascua, Ara Mina, among others, is now showing in select cinemas nationwide.
