From the author of “Para Sa Hopeless Romantic” and “Para Sa Broken Hearted” – Marcelo Santos III, comes a heart-wrenching series that will teach us about love and when to give it a second or even a third chance – “Kung Hindi Lang Tayo Sumuko,” streaming exclusively on Viva One, Aug. 21.
It follows the story of Allie (Coleen Garcia) and Benedict (Carlo Aquino), a couple all set to get married.
Things look promising for the two, but as they prepare for their wedding, the long buried cracks in their relationship start to show.
None too soon, they’re both having cold feet.
It doesn’t help that they are surrounded by other couples struggling with their relationships.
Georgina (Rhen Escaño) and Mark (Jerome Ponce) are in an LDR situation (long-distance relationship) and are slowly drifting apart.
Sandy (Ryza Cenon) and Derrick (Kiko Estrada) are a married couple who have problems with infidelity.
Will Allie and Benedict make it through and say their “I Do’s”?
“I am really excited as to how people will receive the project,” said Coleen. “It’s quite relatable. Marami din ako natutunan dito personally.”
Carlo enjoyed working with Coleen.
“Masaya ang vibes sa set and that’s very important for me as an actor. Thankfully, masaya si Coleen katrabaho,” he said.
Produced by Studio Viva, “Kung Hindi Lang Tayo Sumuko” is directed by Carlo Enciso Catu.
Being his first with Viva, Carlo is excited about it.
“Sobrang nakaka-excite… nakakakilig at nakaka-excite,” he said.
Ryza believes the series is a must-watch for couples. “I think it’s common naman sa relationship na darating kayo sa puntong parang susuko na kayo. Dito makikita natin ang iba’t ibang ways mag-cope,” she said.
